T&A

I love the snow.
It makes my day,
to see it fall
from clouds of gray.
Each flake unique,
or so they say.
Mosaics traced
on pane betrays
the truth of where
my core child plays,

The hoary land of Tea and Eh

Where now I live
in desert way
with painted mountains
to survey
and sip in life
above the fray
I find my muse
is kept at bay
til in my mind
I slip away

Back to the land of Tea and Eh

Oh! Canada
though I’m away
the maple leaf
I still see sway
before my eyes
most every day
Though years may pass
I still will pray
For my return
To you someday

My native land of Tea and Eh!

never try to teach a pig to sing
it wastes your time AND annoys the pig

Bart
Being a closet dirty old man, the title was an immediate attraction...lol

But I see it is a serious poem, writen with a touch of humor, nicely done, Eh!

I must say you remind us why we love our Canadian home...I hope someday you will fulfill your dream and return to the north to again enjoy those things you fondly remember...*hugs* from the Prairies...
