Never close enough

Mommy said it was bed time
I didn't know what to do
So, I grabbed my snuggle blankie
and went in search for Pooh

Barney was in my crib
No way I'm going there
Elmo was in mommies office
and I couldn't find Becca Bear

I scooted down the hall
on my belly and my knees
I just had to find the gang
I knew they would hide me

Sure enough in the den
all up in a huddle
I found Pooh and the Gang
and they wanted to cuddle

I could hear mommy calling
"Timberlea, its time for bed"
And my friends, did what friends do...
They covered me and my head

When mommy found us lying there
all huddled in a pile
she ran and got my daddy
and made me pose there with a smile.

In the end I had to sleep
cause thats what babies do
and playing with the gang wore me out
if ya wanna know the truth.

*** Whew !! aint had a little one around in 12 years... she is crawling now, and man alive, I am worn out haha.  But who can NOT love a face like that?***

I may hate myself in the morning - but I'm gonna love you tonight

enjoy these times...they are gone too soon (even though the love of Pooh and friends never goes away)

An awesome work telling the tale of a baby's adventure.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!
