Happy Birthday, jellybeans... fc Iloveit jinxed Zoe farragoes mugwort (a perfectly good name even if you never used it *sniff*) Corazon etc etc etc (yassee why I call her Sybil? *G* I know I've probably left out some. LOL I hope your special day is a great one... I love you, O&O!!!! And you deserve better... but I couldn't steal a real poet's pen. *G* Supple Steel You've bent before strong winds that sought to break you, Holding on to hope when joy's forsaken you. You've maintained trust throught trials that ought to make you Bitter. But no, your battered spirit's shining With firmer faith after the fire's refining. On promises of better life you're dining While this one seems to be submerged in strife. You've endured agonies that time can't erase Yet seek to keep big smiles on little faces Who think heaven-on-earth is Granny's place For love is given in your every glance. You've never allowed cruelest circumstances To keep you down - in fact, they've only enhanced Your beliefs in God and a better life. Please know I'd share your burdens if I could, Bear your pain myself if somehow that would Give you relief, but wishing does no good - I can only be your friend And hope you realize how I admire you, How I am in awe of all that inspires you. I know you'll face all that life requires of you With a grace that never ends. Happy Birthday, dear lady...  |
