Danced with wolves

Have you ever “Danced with wolves”,
Upon the fields beneath the moon-
sang the hymn “The cry to the heavens”
felt the peace flow through and through,
Or looked upon a passing stranger-
with a wonder in you’re eyes
visioning the happiest moments of your life.

Can you sing with all the birds,
upon the patterns of the wind-
colour all the rainbows, and water everything,
Tread the footsteps of the old-
beneath the past below, find the same little holy place
that everybody knew, speaking to the god-
somewhere in the soul, never having looked up
to see the light upon the faces,
Nobody hates forever, forgive the one’s you knew
because one day you’ll be the hatred
with nowhere else to go.
