infatuated, i rolled around in your mouth
high pitched therapist, of farm gal threads
seamstress of adolescence
that didn’t need much
passages twisting
resembling
show vs. tell

southern gates looking farther north
like sand dollar story telling
chunks of themselves reshuffled
into leather gods
myth making principles

this side of reality
tornado carrying me into fantasy
holding visions, like a pulse of life
touch stones of think and dream
literature of an open mind
evolving into awe
imaginary, outer reaches
too paralyzed to cope

wondering what manufactures realism

we talked a lot about, human existence
far above savagery, a strong tendency
with u-turns
permanence deriving cogent ideas
uncertain future dates, real

then, the postcard came
probing marrow in my bones

wondering sometimes, if I loved you to much

Lee~

'touch stones of think and dream'

This, in it's entirety, is a touching splash of ink~

Lee, I was going to choose my favourite lines..
but, I would end up copying the poem in it's entirety.
This is wonderful descriptive writing...
Love you and your style lady~

Is there really such a thing?  It's easy to second guess ourselves when our love is not returned.  But I don't think it's possible to put limits on how much love we feel for someone, even if it is too much!  I don't know, you always get my wheels turning, and it's always a treat you, LeeJ~

Lee...Isn't it wonderful how our minds work allowing us too express ourselves in poetry and too venture where we've never been. Enjoyed...Paul

I have known some leather gods--they always felt sticky in the sun...

this is like a long road winding, backward in the rearview mirror.

and a little sigh, what it meant to me, has more to do with me than your intent I suspect, but your work has that effect.

Enjoyed, Lady Lee.

What is most provoctative
about this
is substance...

and it weighs heavy.

An excellent write, Lee.

Your excellent poem brought back a memory. It made me think of my Mother who had cherished for a lifetime a postcard from the one who had touched her heart, but life had separated them ... She had lived her life though, but even in old age she sometimes remembered and wondered ...

I think we can say that we love too much, when we DEPEND on that specific subject to be happy. This IS definitely a dangerous situation.

Great write!

Love, Margherita

And if you'd loved less... you'd wonder then, too. *S*

This is excellent... every line's a winner!
