Bringing Home the Bloom Twice broken twice blessed, February is such a damn mess, with paper made of memories, a whistle and a dream I’m dropped and bare tested as I rattle my cage. The sky is so cracked that I hear through time’s door, for it’s not made of plastic, it’s a cup filled with more then a hoot or a fancy filled glass of good wine, I am lost and unbuttoned and I don’t like to rhyme. My dear love of window is for just looking out and a space for my pen to go moving about, I can’t get past time’s traces of mud slides where road’s spoken and the gathering tears build in pocket for token. Perhaps in the mimic of my heart on the sleeve I’ll wear thin the blanket again that I weave, and sit quietly here as dusk settles a debt drinking beer from the fabric I’ve lost, but not yet. You see in the golden of years I see coming all the truth will come out and yet still want for something, the rose and the clover, and sweet love’s perfume I will win with last inning where I bring home the bloom. |

What a lovely surprise this is! "Perhaps in the mimic of my heart on the sleeve" grin--I can't even fake an orgasm. I have tried too. I always end up laughing. Nod. I laugh alot. I like the determination voiced in this, Martie. "I will win with last inning where I bring home the bloom." You are the bloom lady. |

This I know....when Martie rhymes, she's as intensely focused as the poem, and for her it's the essence of real whether we understand the whole of it ourselves or not. Be patient, dear lady...know that this will change and life will flow again in the courses it was meant to take. Know that. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

No sweeter flower blooms dear Marti, than the one inside the soul. How I do enjoy your works. At times the sky is cracked...and the golden years, yes, they shall be a winner. TD |

This makes me want to hug you Martie. I think Ed said it best...all things change in time. |

I want to sit on that couch again, having that beer, holding my friend's hand, and just listening to her heart bloom. |

"I am lost and unbuttoned and I don’t like to rhyme." This is one of the best lines I have ever read! Thanks. |

Twice broken twice blessed, agreeing with K, here, you are the bloom and all that you create. |

Martie, Apart from being wonderfully expressive, it's also most touching. You will be the bloom and the perfume. |

so many special and impressive lines in this... but this one spoke of you to me..... all the truth will come out and yet still want for something, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ it wants you to write of it. rhyme or not... just write... |

I am lost and unbuttoned and I don’t like to rhyme. You may not like to... but you certainly do it well! *S* Excellent write! |
