What can I ask?
The words linger softly
in my eyes,
waiting for the chance
to be released;
the longing simply
longing to know
that it is somehow
returned...
my questions hesitate
in silent whispers
in my mind that dissolve
into gentle breaths
wondering in the
space between
the visions in your soul...
if my face can be seen
among them,
if I am still there...
