Although Although my mind still flies in space My body seems to stay one place Gathering up antiquity Antiquities iniquity I’d rather me, not turn to rust Nor fly about a speck of dust I’d rather stay and do awhile And add a little more my file And even though I’d miss my friends I know they would forgive times bend Allow me just a little grace To tidy up my time and place For I’ve neglected much of real And feasted on my minds ideal The building of an Ivy tower An overdose of wine and flower Forgive me if I seem to rave A beckoning beyond the grave |
