ground fog

it is fog

isn’t fog

cool still
air milk
poured
everywhere

stand
to a white lake
of black trees
stars so clear

while
threats of
the ground
hide in it

kneel and
the world
turns safe

but where

lost
in vague
fluorescent
white

I walk this
forever night
in ground
fog

As always... your work has so many layers... so much depth... and plundering them gives greater and greater appreciation for your talent.

The melancholy mist seeps through the screen as I read... Excellent work!!!

I could not write a better or more meaningful reply to your wonderful write than the one that suthern wrote.

Perhaps the two of you could collaborate and write a duet?!?

One of the aspects of your writing that really appeals to me, is your ability to convey how you feel and what you see at memorable moments in time.

Ed

A very surreal feel to this, great imagery that takes me there, oh what?  I am there, but no fog now in the higher elevations, just smog.

You, and a few other

and that, my friend,
is a good thing.

Thank you for this pure piece
of silk cool.

The mist actually brushed by my skin as I read you...
Something like the horizon on a spring eve, just above the tree line.
Our knees always know what they are for, don't they?
Wonderful.

Love this,

lost in vague flourescent white.

I walk this forever night in ground fog.

Fabulous reflection!!
