because, my mind in terms of sensitivity

reads a long running romance

romance of

palmy days, with periwinkle and beaches

unimaginative, flatters, politely and…

like an artistic soul dreams

with arms held out, opened wide to me

sways with some ballet digesting a tea of evening

and i wonder, what else there ever was,

but this, this moment that stops and stares

clinging philosophically

assorted depth takes up, hard fisted

rhyme, like sisters with impulse guides

plausible investments, unlike any other

something choosing us out

a mother furnishing life, child of love

calling us into vast things…eternal singers

insulting fearful screams

like the sigh of a gypsy breeze

owned by Skiathos

clear pure fountain of oceanic gymnasia

sitting cross legged, waiting, like a current

selection rich with azure branches

and there, i am bathed in love

sitting in silence

there are no words

except a pregnancy

coming face to face with twilight wind

to impose itself upon my mere unskilled

meaningless life

there was never suffrage

only uncertain future

where the eyes of evening sun

smiles on the solitary path of life

i am so pleased, so overwhelmed, to have had

this affection, this time

filling the air with fragrance

colors of patience, calm, and deepest

water world, of some nodding permission

to have allowed me to happen

gems of summer gauze

and it is then

that I know, I am the daughter of reason

permeates entirety

it is a voice, I no longer seek

but know personally

it is the morning of life

interlocking eyes

exchanging souls

there, we’re never alone

lilac citadels

bride of tides

glide with seagulls

growing still, long and loud

out of some truth

like, youth of the morning

dawn’s tide, sliding swiftly over

burning within the pattern of my weave

my ability…

in this fortune, I drink the word famous

counting these days of ecstasy

with a voice message

that staggers home at night

like these now coming days of autumn

seeking the chocolate of meaning

a vision derived from consideration

the scent of life, waves hello

enthusiastic

immortality knows

it is enough to be alive

within this mid-summer tribute

of green time….

with great affection

I found I could survive

naked as the child who slipped out of

my womb…

purring in this space

this transitive relationship

Godly phantasm

with clear determination

in stride

Skiathos

wholely plausible

Dear Lee, I am in awe.

This is achingly beautiful and of outstanding poetic power.

You are blessed, dear Lee, with a sharp mind and psychic eyes.

Love and hugs.

5:29 a.m., Sunday morning
I am reading poetry
That takes away the thought
of work that waits in flowers
That must be planted today,
Not tomorrow, but today
Their roots might be dry,
If not nurtured...just like my mind..

They wait for me
Like this poem has
Here in this world of words
With roots of image and thought,
Its color and beauty the same.

I take them in my eyes, and I am on Skiathos....

"I am so pleased, so overwhelmed, to have had
this affection, this time

filling the air with fragrance

colors of patience, calm, and deepest

water world, of some nodding permission

to have allowed me to happen"

As beautiful as any arrangement of licorice and golden grass, with the broad leaf of coleus.

This poem reminds me of plants that struggle in their environment, but with persistence, survive and flourish...

Sorry, LeeJ but some poems just make me long winded...

you sit me upon a stone to watch the world unfold in its meditation and beauty - in its reminder that there is more and it is cosmic in its glory - and enveloping in its care -

enjoyed the feel of this this morning my friend -

hugs - S

If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . .
