empty, she sits in rock of chair
her floral dress in tease of air
her trembling hand just resting there
with cigarette
gossamer

within the high lamp of sun
her eyes peg what’s come undone
the liken state of myrmidon
her footless chapters on the run

and in creep of grey and white
her verse is of a violent write
that she may not sight this night
birth of fledged full moon-light.

outstanding lines!!

had to skip over to dictionary.com for this:

Clouds are hiding my moon too, little one...
and when you want the muse to come...
it's a little bit hard,
through the gray!

"within the high lamp of sun"

~ That line just popped out at me and will be with me forever!

Enjoyed your poem and appreciate the poetic grace with which it was written.

The voyage out has healing effects.

The moon's power filters through the grey ... if we let it happen.

Love and hugs.
