I want to say the most important things Which tremble in my blood in your presence My most humble firmament as it dissolves To be whispered as the breeze bequeaths and solves The mystery of which you are Enchanted, oh yes, I must have been enchanted To resurrect a dream that once had drown Capsized in the wake of vigilant and deafening fear Every part of you astounds as miracles appear The mystery of which I am And I return to silence, refuge of solitude Away from clamoring hands that deplete me Safe in the warm waters of remembrance Safe in curled and tucked away observance Reverberating voices ilk You are my heart I will not deny it; thrust a languid barb told trident And if, I am the only of believers to be seen If all that we have shared was just a dream Then this is conversation with my heart Copyright Kkh 05/23/05 |
