To be Cognizant

I strode within a valley’s green
But could not comprehend the scene
It touched me in an ethereal sense
The smell of grass its recompense

It offered me a moment’s clause
A moments peace a moments pause
An oasis this world of rue
A place to stay within the blue

But green is but a symbols guide
An island in the flow of tide
A moment’s stay to catch your breath
A place to breathe before your death

Many a valley caught my eye
Many a valley brought a sigh
But in the passage come to view
The best of all would be of you

You are the valley I would stay
Stay forever and a day.

Find peace in the green, Sy...
its color can vary so much,
in some many wonderful ways...

In that particular valley of love lies life's essence.

Dear Seymour, I admire you for the lightness and beauty in all your poems, the music is always there, as is your wisdom!

Love and hugs. Have a beautiful Sunday ... evening I guess!
