LongJohn kicks Kitty Cats, Has no heart at all, Gets free ones from the classifieds, To feed his snake named Jaws. On Sunday mornings after Mass, He plays poker with the nuns, Cleans them out of all the tithes, And thinks it's so much fun. Then one day he got his "dues" Left LongJohn broke and sick, The nuns brought in a "ringer" Sister Mary Maverick. |

the devil made me do it! Just having some fun on your fun   As the story goes, Sister Mary Maverick Was picked to go to Long John's town. As she stared at that cat-hating Long John, She knew she’d have to take that rascal down. His brow it was a sweating, As her foot moved up and down his leg. Pretty soon she had him really good That cat-kicker actually started to beg! He offered her his entire pile of chips, But she shook her head, actually amused. He simply stared at her in disbelief That was one huge pile she just refused. She reached across and stroked his cheek, Scratched his back, and ears to make him purr, Everyone in the entire room was silent While Sister Mary Maverick worked her fur! In a sweat, he got down on his knees To grovel and beg for her attention, But then he spotted something really odd The darn dealer forgot to mention. There hanging between her feet Was a long tail striped black and white, Long John had been turned on, out witted By a cat woman in a veil that night! That is why to this very day That bar in Long John’s town, Tells the “tale of Feline, Mary Maverick” The cat that took ole Long John "down!" ~* C'est la vie *~ |
