Borrowed

I took a match that pierced the dark
And lit from it another spark
That turned the shadows into gray
And lit for me a part my way

I felt a firefly in plight
Sending signals in the night
Lighting matches in the awe
Finding traces I could store

Each view in view I did peruse
To make a rose come into view
The nettles pierce and ran my blood
That set the rains of Noah’s flood

And now I’ve sent a dove above
To find the Island of my love
To fly away and find a goal
A shoal where I can find my soul

I sail upon an endless sea
This voyage of eternity

Seymour, yet another great write from you Sir, we all seek; the oceans of our souls must indeed be rough, for to feel calm and at peace is rare, as for love, the lucky have it, others just seek through a life time and of it dream. Always enjoy your words Seymour, thank you for sharing tonight. Keep the light burning so the lost can find.

Sincerely
Rick
