Slap me silly if I become so complacent that I miss a golden chance to allay the moment of pain for another soul in need of a smile and a hug. Yes, dark moods and careless words are a black rain, but missing an opportunity to shed a small love light is like... embracing an iceberg. So slap me silly if I become complacent. Give a damn... give a smile and a hug. |

hugs, Linda, but alas...(can we still say alas and not have everyone laughing? LOL) I have missed many golden moments, but instead of beating myself up, I usually just vow to do better the next time. Thanks for your generously kind reply! |
