Mothers I saw myself in her and wondered if those wrinkles would some day be mine to wear, to show, that I have done my best, been my best and loved life to its fullest. A long enough ride to be able to talk about myself, my plans and to let her see I am a survivor... so she can stop worrying about me. She handed me each piece, reminding me of when and why she received them, explaining they were mine to share with others in the family, if I wanted to. But I will keep them as long as she exists and hope that it is many years distant from today. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." Although she'll NEVER stop worrying about you -- I rest assured that she always has been and remains proud! |
