What was it you said about time? |

Night blooming jasmine interspersed with sweetest sage, remembered scents of you caressing me within a coastal breeze, surrounding the visual imagery of me, kneeling at your knees, searching the criss-crossing lines of time etched upon your face, looking for a way to stop time’s horrid racing pace. What was it you said about time? Oh, that it was not something you kept upon your agenda, not an item to be listed as if it should be calculated, rather...a precious gift to be spent freely, without pretense. And each time I dip the brushes into warm earthly paint, I remember time has graciously been on my side, and shall remain so as long as I live within each moment, in carefree abandonment of all pretentious constraints. namaste [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (05-16-2005 12:28 PM).] |
