If but once the trembling heart might lie as waters still sit the waiting pool....Then might the soul not cry..as freedom reigns and brave thoughts rule. Oh give to me the sinewed might, the voice of calm and grains of sand, that I might quell the rending fright and bring to palm a strength of hand... My knees, they rest the cool hard stone before thee Lord, I bow to thee. My heart does beat against these bones before thee Lord, on bended knee. I ask in silent thought a wish that once the day might bring, the chorus sung of angel’s song...alone I stand, I wish to sing. Leave not my fear to conquer me, let not the cries resound the cliff...leave not the doubt of destiny....as I stand wavering from this rift...
