you color me happy
with your whisper word hues
painted in deepest sapphire
and cascades of midnight blue

your love rains
a meteor shower
watering shimmering moon blossoms
and star shine flowers

that bloom within . . .

my heart of
velveteen red
in sooth touch compassion
from your soul I am fed

blushed pink
as satin kissed rose
I take refuge in your ardor
in your passion laced odes

that echo within . . .

my mind
thought places
leaving your caress and
fingertip traces

drawn in shapes
of the runes of old
engravings of the heavens
from legends once told

that linger within . . .

If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . .

Susan

The imagery throughout this wonderful piece was nothing short of breathtaking.  This would have to be a favourite of mine.

Take care.......Sue

When browsing, I happened across this oldie-but-goodie, and thought it was high time to dust it off and take it to my library!  It is stunning!
