A prisoner of romantic love, mesmerized by her glowing flame, her beauty, her goddess power free. Blinded, he doesn't see his desires smothering her; his fear of losing closing the blinds on the windows of his soul, and no permanence visits their mutually-shared space. Forgetting his own needs only wanting her, he starves his soul, to possess: his constant attention, like dripping rain from a roof intrudes into her private world, feeds her growing resentment. How can one offer love from the threshold of control? From the fear of losing? True love does not keep company with a possessive pronoun. ...And if you change the gender, the conclusion is the same... |
