Different Paddles

I use a paddle shaped in word
To paddle up the rivers herd
To reach a point of common is
Just a point beyond Cadiz

The river flows with rapids snow
Bends and dips where ere I go
I do the best I can to steer
But I am caught in whirls of fear

Horizons tell me naught of far
The night is dark there is no star
A mist surrounds my searching view
My paddle sets in air askew

I shoot the rapids day by day
There is no time to stop or stay
Waiting for a future coup
To see in view a patch of blue

And in the blue a rainbows goal
To reach the doorway of my soul

Flexibility is strength, and you encounter it, throughout
Especially loved this....

And in the blue a rainbows goal

Just as is life, my friend, each lesson extending thoughts, and you always succeed in extending mine, which, I might add, is not easy to do!!!  hehe

Hugs and Good Morning!

o i can think of a different paddle
after reving up to dark's up there, of course,
but this sounds like a sea of serenity
this morning and quite an enjoyable journey

Thought I had a paddle once but she turned out to be an oar. Keep stroking, Sy

Good morning, Sir Wordsmith!

As the saying goes, "Different strokes for different folks!"

I personally, have been up many a proverbial creek without a paddle and could have used oars such as yours to steer me clear of "whirls of fear"!

You could have set me safe afar when there has been no guiding star.

The door to your soul is lit by the most glorious rainbow and may it glow forever more with divine celestial Light.

Love & Living Light,
EA
P.S. You are one who truly does have both oars in the water!
