Standing so forlorn gruff gnarly's broken spirit shows upon his face. In the distance faint but clear sound of chain saws drawing near. |

Karen, Donna, Karilea & Lee~ Thank you for responding. This beautiful old tree stands in a Provincial Park near here..and believe me they would have to go through me in order to cut my favourite tree down! Geesh..I'm a fiesty old broad. LOL. |

Thank goodness you are a fiesty 'old broad.' Here in the Lakes Region of NH, the population growth is tremendous and so many trees are being cut down. It makes me sick and I have tried to fright the 2 new homes in my neighborhood; sadly, without success. A beautiful tree with saving words. Hugs, Marti A single sunbeam is enough to drive away many shadows. |

Marti~I have a feeling you would be standing right there beside me to save this or any other tree. Thank you lovely lady. Ken~You are so fortunate to live around trees with such character. Can you imagine all that they have seen, and heard! Hugs to you too. INclan~I love a cosy fire as much as you..as long as it is not old gnarly here. Hugs. |
