The Salesman You all know that I’m a Dragon….. Like doing Dragon things Play with sultry maidens….. Soaring high on wings Yes, it seems occasionally… I must find a knight For all the population enjoys, a damn good fight It appears your ”civilization” is spreading much to wide A Salesman called up to my cave… Imagine that.. The hide The Cheek of such a happening, is really Too absurd I’ll now relate what happened… In my own Dragon words I had been out on a hunting trip just the night before Knights Armour is much stronger now, so my mouth was sore A Dragon with a Broken Fang should well be left alone But still this Stupid Salesman walked into my home “This is what I thought I saw, as I drove by in my car So I parked and walked right up…. Really not that far I have come to show you ….oh so many wares I will take away from you, your worries and your cares I know that someone lives here, for I could smell the fire Decided to just drop right in, and visit for a while It’s really dark in here,,, Don’t know how you can see But I can sell you lighting,,,, Now come and Talk with me” That voice was getting on my nerves, as I curled up on my ledge If it doesn’t go away,,,, I’ll just remove it’s head It was coming closer,,,,, Just would not go away Maybe it was time,,,,, for me to make his day It had been about two hours, I drank the case of Rum I could feel it kicking in,,,,, thought I’d have some fun Sneaking for a Dragon is not a simple thing For we really are quite large, with even larger wings Yet somehow I succeeded, to sneak into my place Oh that silly salesman…. We now were face to face He must have felt some movement, for he hesitated there I opened Golden Glowing Eyes, and fixed him with my stare Just a touch of Brimstone, I Filtered through my jaws For someone so loquacious,,,,, It seemed to give him pause Maybe it all happened when I stroked him with my tail But from Confidence and Talk,he let out a wail His Eyes now bulged like goldfish, hair was turning white It seems that in an instant, he was a frightful sight So I picked him up real gently, put him between my wings Said “Now I’ll show you Dragon Needs,,, Other lovely things” In an instant we were Soaring, high into the sky Another instant diving, as I showed him how we fly Now and then I’d shake him off,,, Then catch him as he fell By the time that I was finished,he didn’t look too well So if you have a salesman, who comes up to your door With White Hair and a Tremor, like none you’ve seen before Just Whisper to him Dragons,,,, ere he begins to speak Believe me he will Never Ever, come back near your street Live It |

Dragons were not all mean, fire breathing coma cozies...just look at Puff...I liked your Dragon smiles...and that you didn't hurt the salesman, but, more, gave him something to think about...hugs...enjoyed |
