You soared the winds, touching God’s
skies...a shrill cry saying you wore the
crown. Winds buffeted wings majestic,
shadowing the shivering prey that
cowered beneath your claws...wanting
to run...to hide...until

Clouds washed the glint of a darkened
eye, staring steadily...courage whispering
softly...I am...

You touched Heaven’s gate...lightly
caressing the cool wrought iron...spurring
onward, up...far into the azure blanket
that stretches your wings....taunting you to
challenge Newton’s law....again....courage
whispers....I am...

You, the mighty, the warrior....as you
fight the winds....freedom rides with
you...and whispers softly...you are.
