Your arms aren’t obligated Friends are over rated The sincerity has gone Our connection now wrong We shared a simple season Warm and full of reason But the tide must always creep in And chase even fantasies to their end Now I can’t lament, what to feel When naturally I lose something so real. My toes burrow deeply in desperation Trying to stall, this most severe separation But sand is only glass in smaller pieces And does not anchor, only cuts and releases And on the nights, when all is memory You will cry, when you think of me Realizing the person you threw away The chances buried in yesterday. ~How do you lose such an Epic battle? More to the question, how in the world to you continue down the road, when every thing in you wants to dwell in the tears facilitated by every hopeful glance behind you?~ |

At times dear sister, there is only faith to guide us. Wishing well all that hurts inside. Hugs, TD |

How do you lose such an Epic battle? More to the question, how in the world to you continue down the road, when every thing in you wants to dwell in the tears facilitated by every hopeful glance behind you?~ thought provoking, butcha know, maybe, just maybe, that's exactly what it's all about...no loss, but gains...at least, that's what this spoke to me...and let me tell ya...truthfully, and most assuridly...I do look back, for the sake of happiness, for the sake of knowing the gift of love...and yet also realize, we could never have been? Does that make sense? Brilliant poem, gave me reason to stop and be greatful for all the blessings. Keeper!!!! |
