Yesterday’s Today one of my favorite photographs of you is in black and white color would have never done it justice, it would have complicated the subject it is a Bonnie and Clyde shot minus the Bonnie of course sleeves rolled high around muscles tight in arch the resource of its simplicity in blades of high strawgrass and snarling angry branches hanging waving at your back I can almost smell the sweat in this paper picture caused from tense internal and external forces where I see between the grey and somehow it warms mine thawing things I thought gone and dreams I couldn’t pull together and in this picture of yesterday I clearly see, my tomorrow just some words cut out |
