she wants to cry if only to feel empty and too know that being human is feeling, just feeling. she knows she knows that coming from a broken family doesn't create a broken person but she still feels disconected she's need the switch flipped. to learn from the past without without being defined by it is a challenge, it was always her challenge and she's grown to know it. what her family has given her wasn't just a loss of self but the realization of a new one and the chance to embrace what she's never had. a broken family does not create a broken person. |
