My soul was born to live for yours, my Love,
before I knew yours even existed,
and now my soul dances with yours,
for there is no other way of being —

I love you as the sunrise meets the day,
they twain are - yet are the same; I love you
naturally, as the rain falls to the ground
with no need for cause or direction —

You always were within me, without me knowing
your face - yet I heard your laughter, and felt
your tears bedew the wild field of my heart

then you dropped your anchor into its untilled soil
and I caught you free-falling from the heavens —
— a gift from the gods, I think.

Admit impediments; love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to

My goodness! I think YOU are a gift from the gods! ~ No, you ARE a god, dear Eros!

CG, this poem of love is divinely beautiful and sweetly soul-touching!
