Turn Into the Wind Turn your face into the wind! Allow the gale to snuff a moment’s breath and force your eyelids blinded shut. Then turn and gasp for life but only after having known the force of nature, that in a second split in two could douse a life, that in a gusty whim could stifle a lifelong dream, that in a half note of music could silence your finest hymn. Turn your face into the wild wind! Let it ruffle your hair and the core of your spirit! Let it bend your body and your arrogance! Then turn away and breathe again slow breaths of humility. For these black rolling clouds that cast shadows on your face, also bring life giving waters. Bow in gratefulness to the wind and to the storm for they are the breath and the voice of God Elizabeth Santos |

OK - This timing is good... I just spent some very special time dancing to the music (that old time rock'n'roll) all around the living room (on top of the furniture... around the dining room.. through the kitchen...) with my kids & munchkins... What fun!!! Thank you, dear lady.. |

Dear Liz, Hello, how are you doing? Hope all went perfectly for you and yours last weekend, can't wait to hear. this part... but only after having known the force of nature, that in a second split in two could douse a life, that in a gusty whim could stifle a lifelong dream, that in a half note of music could silence your finest hymn. reminding me, how fragile yet, signficant life is...in that moments time, is when all the material things of the world mean nothing, and all we have gathered close to the hearts of others, in consideration, understanding bringing them peace, hope and above all, love....is when the final moment brings a wealth of harvest. And you Lady have touched everyone who knows you, in that way. I have missed reading you and hope you do continue to post your generous songs of admiration and respect towards life and it's people. You have touched my heart with this beauty, many many thanks. Hugs to you and yours |

that in a half note of music could silence your finest hymn. The forces of our inner storms often go unheard and yet your poem reinforces our finest moments, as they were meant to be. Thank you for this, Elizabeth~ |
