I was told get in touch with your anger What the hell was he thinking Could I be toiling with danger I felt my will power shrinking A boiling point I could't reach Trying to keep my demons at bay My children what could I teach If I let it end this way Angry as hell at past circumstances Nail biting hair pulling fits of rage Eyes that see evil glances And yet I still turn the page Exploding well yeah deep inside my being Being branded as crazy intended harm Agony I'm always seeing Is this cause for any alarm ~~~~~Dara~Beth~~~~~ |

I was once told to go stand by the RR tracks, wait for the train to come by, then scream as loud as I could, all the obcenities I knew, then laugh outloud until the train was gone. LOL (it works really well, for a day or so anyway) |

I can very much relate to this. Holding your anger inside isn't good. It causes depression. You should, indeed, get it out (in a good way). One way to do that is to write about your anger, as well as talk about it to someone you can trust. Like, a good friend. Write your feelings out, whether it is in a journal, or in poetry. Ddon't hold it in. Sometimes, when you have anger and just let it build, you just keep stuffing it all deep down inside, until you no longer feel it. Then, you tell yourself you never get or feel anger. I tell you this, because I have experienced it. Sorry, this is so long. I am going to stop now, before I fill up the whole page. |
