Halleluja I could not sleep last night Lord, Not the first night with myself awake In the cold darkness of a solitary night, But this time I played Halleluja over and over; For 3 hours I sat and wept; As the sobs wracked my body only one cry could escape my lips, Halleluja, Halleluja, Halleluja, Halleluja... I saw the lights gone down in my city, With Your great lantern hanging high, Adorning the bay's light blues with A million golden sequins shining up Into pearly sails and jeweled ships; And as my eyes could no longer bear, And water washed away the searing light, only one cry escaped my lips, Halleluja, Halleluja, Halleluja, Halleluja... |

Maybe you should try a different book? and a CD with happy music, at the very least something a little less droll. |

I'm accustomed to staying up at night because I work nights. The sky is a beautiful canvas when it's a clear night. |

Don't those stars seem to reach right down and grab you on a clear night? A powerful refrain, halleluja... |
