Safely from a distance
perched upon the cool stones
she gazes at her
in silent admiration

   she rests peacefully
   cradled in dawns arms

and then,
slightly yawning
she stirs with first
sleepy breath of morning

slowly exhaling
sending soft ripples
across the perfect stillness
of her soul.

She hears the winds
as they mock her
in lucid reflection

how they tease her,
tantalizing her
to awaken

gently lapping
against the smoothness
of her curves

coaxing her

into blissful
grand awakening

and like a voyeur
she watches

as she wakens
to embrace the tide

greedily swallowing
the fury of swell
taking it deeply
into her belly
in soft rise
and fall

then subtly
receding
in perpetual motion
that sways her
to complacency.....

She rises from the rock
feeling as though
she had invaded
something private,

  something sacred

      yet privileged...

and as she turns to go
she hears her whispering
her melodical tune

and glances back
with slight smile
knowing that she will return
to her azure lure
  again soon...
     very soon....

Dedicated to you, Maree....
for allowing me to find her again.

How beautiful you write of her, Donna.  She inspires me too, but haven't written of her yet and I don't think I could, so well.

hand over heart, i knew this would be beautiful, oh Donna, you make me sighh.

you have done her justice indeed, like i knew you would.

Absolutely stunning,

oh i read it to myself at first, then out loud so that she could hear you Donna, and you should hear her and see how she sends waves and waves of applause, along with me.

I thank you so very much, i am smiling from ear to ear.

into my library.

Nancy you know how much
your words mean to me, thank you.

Martie I can not imagine you having not writing
of her but I am sure that when/if you do
we are all going to be in for a most
beautiful treat.

Bella, if it made you smile
than I am indeed blessed and
grateful.

Raph, I appreciate your words
and visit, thanks so much.

There is such quiet splendor in this beauty, and I am in awe!
