Quietly, so quietly they move in special ways bringing their individually unique hope and faith and beauty of grace into a world that desperately needs their compassion and touch of hand to heart; they are the light lighting the way for lost souls struggling to find their way home they are the sun shining on shoulders now weary from carrying the burdens of passing time... they take away the dark and replace it with the dawn rebirthing life from stunted seeds but they too, bleed when they see the tears of those confused and filled with fear their whispers drift upon the breeze and I believe that they are sent from the heavens above to fill the world with comfort, peace and love. Only, when God sends angels........ {dedicated to some very, very special angels who have touched my life.} I really want to care, I want to feel something, let me dig a little deeper nah, still nothing~ my give a DAMN is busted. I have been thinking about angels lately...just watched The Prophecy last night good movie and this...a beautiful write God only promises a safe landing, not a calm flight. |

GentleSweets~ You know what I was thinking as I read this ? Well, let me tell ya' ... I was reminded of my great grandmother, arms encircling me on the porch swing ... crooning her poetic thoughts to the night ... she would squeeze me and tell me to "Always be an angel ... for angels will flock to your side when needed ... just as you will be summoned to do when they have need." Gentle Spirit, I can easily see why "special angels" are attracted to you. Every reading of your poetry, and I think I have read most all of your posts here, show your kindness and gentleness.
