Were poets born to fill the void of they that cannot speak? Were we born to feel their pain while searching what they seek? Were poets given souls of lost that hide within their head? Were we born to think too much and find the answers said? Do we suffer more than most from what our minds do see? Are the chains of words too strong to one day set us free? Are our minds receivers of what the world would tell? Do all poets write the words of they who rose and fell? |

Hi Rick, I think writers are deep thinkers.. and show and feel much more emotion than others. Good questions here!! Hugs~Nancy ~Somewhere in my heart I'm always |

Dear Rick, I believe Earth and all of Creation represent a divine Poem and those with a poetic heart know and share their knowing. Though I believe also in ONENESS I hope I don't have any lost soul hidden in my head, but then who knows ... if we can be of help to rescue some...?! Appreciated your questions. Love, Margherita ![]() |

Hello Rick How wonderful it is to read your words of wisdom again. My mind never seems to shut down and the words just continue to flow like blood through my veins. There is a downside in that sometimes my writing leaves me feeling emotionally drained, as it has been lately. It is nearly the sixth anniversary of my father's death and I guess that has a lot to do with it. I hope all is well in your life. Take care........Sue I am in motion |

another thought provoking ponder... I believe poets are of the artistic culture...and are products yes, of the pain, they've endured, but I also believe that poets/artists are a bit more spiritual, perceptive, sensative, and have the ability to listen, sensing, almost knowing the existence of another dimension, walking here on earth with us, perhaps many other dimensions...feeling them...and their writes articulate the readers own eyes, whatever his/her ability is to see...for perhaps growth, a smile, self understanding...to gain...hopefully from our words...I know, since I've been writing here at PIP, the reading has served me well...with many regards to you and all who place there words on these blue pages. Perhaps our purpose Rick, to stimulate and help each other towards answers, without even being aware of the effects? Hugs |

This reminds me of the old cherry-stone song... As for the poem itself, to ponder all of those thoughts, and to inherently know that the answer [for me] is yes to all... well, that just shows me that we are kindred spirits. ![]() This, m'friend, is a ![]() ![]() ![]() Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen? Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises... |
