Baltimore Cried Baltimore cried like a child as I watched from my motel window beads of rain cling to windshields like I am to your memory, you know Time will tell if I can recover from where I fell for you Alyson sighed like the wind as she waited for my answer hands in her jean pockets and I couldn't even look at her Baltimore shone like her eyes she wanted me to admit defeat her gaze cracked me open like the shell of a life on repeat Time will tell if I can recover from the hell of leaving you Coins in the wishing well what can you tell me about emotions overdue Alyson cried like only she can tore my heart out of my chest for every teardrop caused by me I find I'm in deeper than I guessed Only time will tell if time will only let me in on the end of this particular tale the one where the prince falls under the spell of a maiden so fair with a precious heart so beautiful and rare and you'd strip away the layers with care only to find there's nothing there but dust and tears and silent fears and you try to fill the space try to wipe away every tearful trace on her face but only time will tell if we have to say forever farewell Baltimore cried like a baby as I watched the grey sky above Alyson's tears sealed my fate soon I'm driving back to her love I'll go and see if I can recover her for me and for her too A curl of her smile so pretty I hope she will welcome me and make my skies blue and turn my lies to truth But only time will tell if she will recover from the hell that I put her through a few coins in the wishing well for me and you Baltimore cried and Alyson sighed as she opened the door "Poets are all who love, who feel great truths, and tell them; and the truth of truths is love." --Philip James Bailey |

"the shell of a life on repeat" just one line of many, many fine lines. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |

But only time will tell if she will recover from the hell that I put her through a few coins in the wishing well for me and you tremendous write...overflowing with great compassion...I wish you both the growing change of understanding for each other...hugs to you |

Wow, such powerful emoting imagery! I am keeping this one to read again, and *sighing* at the opened door. |
