my favorite cluster of stars that hold all my secrets ... is Pleiades also called, the Seven Sisters. Somonka is a Statement/Response form written by two with a syllable count of 5-7-5-7-7.

Pleiades, Sing

Statement

Something in the night;
a sigh, pure as ivory
encircles my thoughts.
I feel your breeze undress me
as clouds revealing this moon.

Response

Seven hold the kiss;
star-dew bathed in luna lace
threading here to there.
Naked, you kneel to accept
nymphs of the west communion

Great economy of writing to express lines of wonder...

You do not get the recognition you deserve.

This is outstanding in form, format, wording, depth and visual.

Well done!

Ancient mythology of star clusters... you have graced them well in their firefly dance of the night.  Beautiful write.

a collector's edition here!  I, too, enjoy watching the night skies.  I remember my dad and I standing in the cold with a blanket wrapped around me as we gazed.  I love watching its meteor shows.  Quite a show!

Outstanding words!

A challenge from Ed -- spend a moment today, thinking about how we should treat a good person who is one of PiP's finest poets....if not this one, then one of your choice....it seems we need to.
