Old Words but as long as someone remembers, someone lives, written with "motherlikenoother". Dave I'm a little man In a little room Trying to count the score No, no monk in deep thoughts I'm just trying to like the room My worry is they'll find me A little old man with nothing A little old man snuffling A little old man on poverty And when they finished mocking They put me in a stocking And deliver me to Gas Bill unpaid Gas mislaid Only a geezer for stuffing i am old my pride has not weathered my life and is now nonexistant these four walls are all that is left of my home there is nothing more to dream and wisdom has twisted its knife in my heart the numbness has worn off and the liquor only adds to the culmination i reap what i have sown my choices are spent like the strength i no longer own an easy target for callous youth, even so i was once like you so before you spit upon me in all my foolish disarray remember this, in judgements of death there is a penance we all have to pay Contributors 1. a sad write Dave But it's true, "but as long as someone remembers, someone lives" And most everyone who has ever lived has touched SOMEONE enough, to be remembered, if only for another generation. Some, the really infamously bad or great and wonderful ones, are remebered forever. |

Thanks Midnight. For a lot of reasons especially his love of children I want to remember. He was a Theatre Manager at Newcastle coming back in a car when he crashed loosing his wife and daughter. I still remember sitting in the one room, but above all I remember for the periods, when I took a break fromt he turnstiles at Battersea Fun Fair and listened to him and others. Maybe that is why I now look at people differently. I owe him and them. I would love to do a stage show called "Funfair" on the characters. regards Dave Dave |

I'm just trying to like the room A profound write, dear Dave. The above sentence reminds me of what I said to a friend who never wants to go home because it makes her feel lonely. I said try to "feel the embrace of your home". And the good memories help too... Love, Margherita |

Old Words but as long as someone remembers, someone lives, written with "motherlikenoother". Enjoyed this, emotion which pulls at the heartstrings, reminding soul that nothing ends...but lives.... |
