You are the flame That fuels Twilight’s burst As sun sets And moon rises In green flash greeting To the coming of night The sizzle of gold As it falls into The cool blue bliss Of eventide You are the shimmer of stars As they rise in rejoicing Dancing to eventide’s serenade Accompanied in time by The beating Of this woman’s heart For you feed the amber That cascades in want Over my silver veiled gaze The fevered longing for The eyes of my lover Upon me In glowing favor The love lust look That devours my flesh In tongue tip promise And fingered fervor Oh sweet capture You hold my heart in passion’s bondage and endearment’s trust ever your vassal submitting to your heart’s desire for this is my treasure I shall dance for you As that of a gypsy And hunger for you As that of the panther I shall love you As you have known no other For in your heart, I am s.a.t. If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . . |
