In heaven because ... |

On the corner a lady cool and composed but within a child dressed up as a bride portending the future desired so to be in heaven because … truth abideth therein. On the corner a book preserved and in tact, a journal of dreams and things not as they seem, but the words well known aren’t read again in heaven because … they came from therein. On the corner a stone of good memories awaiting a throw into forgetfulness but people pass by too scared to bend low in heaven because …. memories never go. On a corner in heaven - but wait a bit please. I remember, remember, no corners exist in heaven because … love walks a straight line. I’m not in heaven; I’m not a bride, earthly corners abound far and wide, and now when I ask, “Why, why, why?” I know it’s because … love can’t take the bends! Helen / 18 April 2005 |

The bends normally require a decompression chamber. |

tp - If one "has" the bends - yes, but not "taking" the bends means ... well, you do know I'm sure. Dixie - thank you for understanding. |
