From passion and lust to love and so time weathers the ego puffed up, inflated, by a fixation on meaningless self-centeredness. One train on the track carries no luck to down the line mystical stations where all abort human thought forms like hope incinerated. There in the fire my only desire and need of your hand in mine burning and spiraling up into air and spreading my fear heavenward. Tutored and taught I wish I had thought to dispose of my love for you unrequited this side of the moon before stepping out into light. Light pierces my soul with memories untold and slashes at my nakedness and forever’s a long time to bleed when blood’s merely a feeling in me! Helen / 17 April 2005 |

Thank you Sea and Dave. Sundays are strange days for me in this part of the world. |

Wow. That was amazing. I felt the love and the love lost in this poem. I, too, have seen the upside of love only to realize that the downward spiral was close at hand. I loved this poem on a very personal level. Yv-Goddess of Her Domain. Symbol of Truth Passion Pain. Let Her Smile Rain on the Hearts of the Innocent. |

And this poem, yv, was written on a soul level. Thank you so much for reading and for commenting. |
