Hang Tight (For Dixie)
~ By Sue ~

Stand strong and hang tight
I'll hold your hand, if you like
It seems as though it's there to stay
the pain you feel from day to day

But, just you wait and see
someday you will be free
I was once where you are
now, I count my lucky stars

I remember where I have been
I won't go there, once again
To you, I reach out my hand
to let you know, I understand

Sue, you truly are sweet. I read Dixie's reply and as you can see, you touched her heart by your loving gesture. I would like to join hands with both you beautiful people!  Holding Hands

i love seeing compassion
  something that is not shown
   much in this life~
     dixie is a very special
      soul and lucky to have
   someone as special as you
     to hold out a hand~
        a big hug to you~

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~

Ah Sue..you are so sweet to post this for our Dixie Gal.
Sending heart hugs to you and to Dixie.

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul

This is really touching.  I enjoyed this one.  I feel like I've made a new friend by reading this poem.  Thank you.
