The ducks seem to me to need no flash of enlightenment..Satori, or as LeeJ questions, Kensho.

They have acomplished this by obeying the laws of the universe, probably because they have no choice but to do so.

But the human viewer, that must go "through it all" must work to find enlightenment...

This is what the words in this poem says to me.
