Muscles taut and knuckles white
I’m holding on to thoughts
feeling, sensing, there should be
a tangible result
because and simply so because
thoughts turn into things.

But because and simply so because
I think but can’t believe
the state of my true womanhood
becomes as a shallow stream
trickling ever slowly on
into the mysterious sea
of doubt and anxiousness.

Come the rain of insight,
the freedom to just be,
and the stream becomes a river
because and simply so because
love changes everything.

But because and simply so because
the river isn’t me
and this life appears as real
I stand confined between the banks
of mortality
waiting for the push
into understanding.

So trickles then the stream
of thoughts, beliefs, and dreams
because and simply so because …
I think but can’t believe!

Thanks to all for the read.

Martie - sometimes being "spirit filled" isn't such a good idea because it shows what I don't think is meant to be seen. I could be wrong though - always a reason for everything.

Thanks, Dave. I always seem to use a lot of words to say what isn't said but whatever it is that I'm not saying has to be said! Okay - that sure sounds a bit weird.
