Silent in the humid breeze of loss Horizons lift a dreamy lid to vibrancy and cause Quaking in a fury that is yet to find its birth Circling round the earth as dawn persuaded to be lean Further than the pain of anything so sweet could glean Drawn a quickened breath, deep into the lung a quarter note unsung Have you heard the fear left there, gyrations in a colored strike? Down the spine of infamy and gutted with persistent spike Silent, revolves the woman thoughts from equator radiant with hope Curved the manicure of cream and fragrant spring the slope Her legs, so strong and firm reply to more than meets the eye Sturdy of the vine that clings of unimagined sparkly things Look, beyond the orb of heart and soul into proclaiming vision Swept from sight in certain calm revision, thought from pain’s incision Turn, and turn again but not away…for light is something found Copyright Kkh 04/12/05 |
