I read...

and wept the
pain of
parchment
stained with
too much loss and
hearts in shatter
of the cost

I beg...

reprieve
a granted stay
too harsh
has been the
sentencing
suspend the
persecution of
these grieving
souls in
bleed...

I plead...

this rancid
cup be passed
this day
in sparing of the
bitterness...
of the
drink
of
this...

A kiss...

upon the
brow for
comforting in
wish of
peaceful
slumbering

Dear, God...
I pray
in echoing...

Let miracles be theirs...
