Mystical Beauty of the Wood Curiously my tender bare foot steps, quietly upon the mossy green floor of the mystical wood, between my toes it is velvet that I feel, newly fresh drops of silver rain, I smell, I inhale, Wildwood trees, the crisp broken bark touches the inside of my soft palms, deeply it weeps unto me, Its hanging braches, full of colorful leaves, move upon the current of wind, hugging me tenderly, Beneath the dark shade, there upon forest glade, mine eyes doeth stare upon a tiny tender bluebell, Miniature raindrops are falling like souls' tears, dripping unto the dark greenwood floor, creating it's own wishing well, Transparent mist is like a shimmering white silken blanket, protecting, loving nature's beautiful gifts, The sun is a loving goddess of nature, sending warm golden kisses upon the animals, plants, trees of the forest, giving blessings, a sun-drenched kiss Sweetly chirping above in a cozy straw nest, I spot a small bluebird, singing from his brown feathered breast, song of love, song of happiness Prisms of artist's colors canopies the forest hills, the forest floors' upon the quiet tranquil, serene pond, green lily pads, glide peacefully like tiny clouds floating in a cerulean blue sky. forest green willows, sadly wave their friendly arms to me, whispering hi A fiery, red, fluffy fox, moves discreetly , from out of it's secluded den, Bewildered he suddenly stops, in his frozen steps cautiously he searches my gentle soul, as if my trust to win, Enchanted, mystical forest, a perfect painting, I leave, creative imagination, magical dreams, enclosed inside this uninhibited place of a dream As I slowly peer back in complete awe of nature's complex beauty, I stood spellbound, captivated forever by the mystical beauty of the wood. |
