I speak with a new and remarkable tongue like a prophet, a saint, a woman in love, into the outer and not the inner folds of a human’s ears. Through eyes I can see a white chalk board with neither a dot nor a comma or even a streak of words erased “quick” before an impact is made. It’s like that some days; not everyone stays on board for the full journey for baubles and beads and “must have” needs like a balm to minds on the prowl and time’s speeding train never stops. Head over heels into the weeds where no roses will grow, a tumble in dust, in rain to rust, and they call out expectedly into the rumble and roar of manmade rules and norms. Clickety-clack – so speeds the train and I hear how the passengers pray because maybe the train derails … and everyone lands in the dirt! |

Helen I've been trying to write a Sunday poem....I do so like yours, but the chores are in piles around me...and I can't find my way! |

Dear Martie - When the time is right you won't mind whether one or two layers of dust lie on the table or whether a business deal gets concluded tomorrow ... but ask for the time with a sincere mind and it will be given to you. Hey - send your ironing over here - low rates! You're okay, Martie! |

"It’s like that some days; not everyone stays on board for the full journey for baubles and beads and “must have” needs like a balm to minds on the prowl and time’s speeding train never stops. " yes, 'tis so true and today? It's a beautiful day....because, I am alive, and able to read some fine poetry, such as this! |

Midnitesun - thank you so much. I believe, perhaps know, that what's alive today will always be so. |
