Time fosters the will to dream, scheme, believe, and experience heaven on earth and so it was done but now it’s undone by the force of disparity. On a mountain I stand so far away, see from the line of unbroken sand hugging the flow of tenuous needs and temporary gratification but born of the flesh, I’m a woman and the wind blows cold when alone. To fall from the peak of all knowing into the arms of the weak and I ask of the prophet of doom to speak of time’s cruelty when I am there listening though some would say I’m asleep. The sea, the sea, of reality and spirit becomes as a fish swimming in tides of mortal desires and eating of unholy needs. And now as I look down below at the seemingly carefree flow I ask am I ready to drown without the feel of love’s crown? The wind blows cold when alone! Helen / 9 April 2005 |

yes the wind can be cold. but the breeze can knock u down. The sea, the sea, of reality and spirit becomes as a fish swimming in tides of mortal desires and eating of unholy needs. i really feel like im no better than a fish after i read this. nevertheless its an excellent write. |

Thanks for the read, Maureen. Fortunately we can brace ourselves against the cold. Freeweelin - Fish have no awareness but it doesn't make them "bad". They'll maybe evolve as we maybe will in order to forgive those who don't know what they're doing - a million more years perhaps. Thanks for the read though. |
