A World without You - such unthinkable thought - Yet, should a man thus think and allow the pain Of such anguish upon his heart be wrought - All else that exists, shall exist in vain. Without You - the World is but stone and dust, Devoid of life and love and passions’ thrall; The fire that burned is choked in the gust And the World is an empty inert ball. Oh, Woman, without You the Sun may still Sear its rays into the desert sand — But what of its heat? - when unceasing chill Tightly grips the heart in its frigid hand: Though a man may be the reaching spire — You are the Temple of Eternal Fire. Thank you, Lady Sunshine... Though I did have to correct a small, yet critical spelling error....LOL CG |
